About Research Warriors

Research Warriors is a Wayne State University student organization founded on February 24, 2016 by Jiayin Dong and Natasha Gupta. It is a community of current and potential research students to build networks and develop research presentation skills.

Mission Statement

  • Vision: building a community for undergraduate researchers at WSU

  • Goals:

    •  To increase participation, communication, and collaboration of research projects among undergraduate students

    • To connect all undergraduate students who have a passion for research and build networks with research PIs

    • To upgrade skills of presenting  and communicating research projects to prepare for conferences and publications

 

  • Long Term Goals:

    • Build an interactive research student community and network

    • Set up a research student mentor-mentee program

    • Create an Undergraduate Research Journal for on-campus publications
