• Knowing how to write and present like a researcher, is very important. Most likely, your PI will want you to be familiar with this as a researcher

• To receive UROP annual research funds, you have to write proposals to apply

• This series of workshops is designed to help you routinely with proposal writing, abstract writing, speed reading on research papers, and research poster/presentation designs

• Professors that have been judges or are very skilled with these will be invited to speak

• Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Guidelines on writing grant proposals

  • Tips on designing an award-winning poster

  • Speed reading research papers

  • Make referencing easier, please!
